45 ways to avoid using the word ‘very’

I recently found a brilliant post, giving many useful advices to writers.

Either you are an established published author or just a beginner, good advices are always welcome.

On this post by Amanda Patterson, you will find a chart listing 45 alternatives to use when you are tempted to put the word “very” in one of your sentences. If you think about it, there are countless times when we try to emphasize a situation and succumb to use the wrong words, just because they are the most common.
