Cherise Nicole Ragland is an Emmy-nominated television producer, actress, songwriter, recording artist, entrepreneur, and author.
For over 15 years, Cherise has acquired extensive experience in multimedia. Cherise has accumulated many credits in TV working on projects as an executive producer, director, and writer on corporate videos, music videos, and other forms of entertainment. Musically, Cherise’s has produced/co-produced and written songs for soundtracks, documentaries, film and independent artists. In addition, she released her own music cd, titled “my healing”.
As an actress, she has performed in several stage plays, musicals, and film, securing roles in productions and pilots such as The Great Exchange, City Blues, The Blexican’s, and The Well. Cherise’ talents have been recognized by many different organizations. Most notable, for her work as a Creator and Executive Producer, she has received an Emmy Nomination for Children’s Programming.
She also received a Cynopsis Kids Imagination Award Nomination for Best Theme Song. Also as the Co- Producer for Music Scoring of Somebody’s Child and Redemption of Rwanda, which received the New York Film Festival Award.
By using the platforms of public speaking and coaching to connect and motivate, Cherise is able to guide others to reach their God-given potential. She has used her experience to coach entrepreneurs on business principles and has also taught many the art of songwriting and music production.
Cherise started her career gaining corporate experience in Customer Service Management and Operations roles at global insurance and food companies. This corporate experience gave her the foundation for managing the business of her entertainment career. Throughout her life,
Cherise has exhibited a strong dedication to her community and has volunteered for several non-profit organizations such as, The Illinois Restaurant Association, PADDS Homeless Shelter, and her local church, Family Harvest Church. To aid low-income families affected by food-deprivation, Cherise founded her own non-profit organization, which ran from 2009 to 2012. The foundation worked hand and hand with multiple schools and churches to organize annual food-drives, called Drive2Give, which fed over 300 families.
